9 Month Well Check

Bethanie had her 9 month check up today and got an A+ :)
The doctor said she is PERFECT! Yep, that's right...we've got a perfect child!

Here are her stats:
Weight: 20 pounds 12 ounces - 75-90%
Head: 46 cm - 90%
Length: 30 inches - GREATER than 95%

Yep, we've got a tall one on our hands! :) Never would have guessed that we would have a tall child. Hehe.

Bethanie is doing great! She's growing up so fast. She is such a joy to have around...even in the middle of the night when she wakes me up multiple times. LOL!

Bethanie loves to get around...she is always on the move. You have to keep a close eye on her because she gets into EVERYTHING! She knows right from wrong and is rebellious already. When she knows she is heading towards something she is not supposed to get into she will turn around to see if I'm watching and then book it as fast as she can to get to whatever it is before I can catch her. She's such a goofball!

She is so talented...she can already pick things up with her thumb and index finger...according to her Aunt Sheree, that's very advanced. :)

Bethanie loves to stand up and "cruise" as they call it...that means walking along furniture. She is still timid to stand on her own or to walk on her own but she can stand up for quite a while on her own until she realizes she is not holding onto anything and then she plops back down.

We got a toy piano from our neighbor and it plays different songs when you hit the keys and today Bethanie was dancing...it was ADORABLE!!

I can't believe how fast she's growing up. Still no teeth...but that's ok.

We love our little girl!! :) We are so lucky to have her!

Bumble Bee...

So, when I was a baby I would cry when my mom would sing this song to me:

I'm bringing home my baby bumble bee
Won't my Mommy be so proud of me
I'm bringing home my baby bumble bee -
OUCH!! It stung me!!

Well, Bethanie LOVES it! When I would get to the "Bzzzzz, Ouch it stung me!" I would do the Bzzzzz into her hands and she just laughed and laughed and laughed...enjoy!
Watch out, her laugh is contagious!

9 Months! WOW!

Bethanie is now 9 months old! Where has the time gone? She is so active and gets into EVERYTHING! She is SO close to walking...she can stand up on her own for a few seconds and then when she realizes she's not holding onto anything she panics and sits back down. She's so much fun. She's got a great personality and loves Trooper. Time flies!
She still doesn't have any teeth and still doesn't sleep through the night...but it's ok, I love her anyway! :) I can feel a "vampire tooth" coming in on the top but nothing has pushed through yet. Hopefully soon though :)

We love our beautiful 9 month old! She's our pride and joy! She is very well behaved and we get comments all the time when we are out about how quiet and content she is. She's amazing! She can be a little trouble maker though...if she's crawling towards something she's not supposed to get into like Trooper's food or into a room she's not allowed in...if you say her name, she will look back and then start crawling even faster! She KNOWS! ;) She's so fun!
