Trouble ;)

Bethanie is growing up so fast. She's now 18 pounds 8 ounces...getting so big...but SO MUCH FUN!

We went to Olive Garden the other night and the crazy waitress put a salad plate down in front of Bethanie (not sure why)...Bethanie grabbed that plate so fast and just started chomping! Who needs salad when you've got a nice chilled glass plate to chomp on? Not her! ;)




















Bethanie can now pull herself up to a sitting and kneeling position. We always used to leave the side of her crib down so that we could reach in nice and easy but that has now changed...I go into her room and there is her little head peaking up over the side bumpers in the crib...now we have to keep her trapped in there. :) Here are some pictures of her after she pulled herself up to a kneeling position...she was trying to get up to Trooper who is asleep up on the couch (his usual position).

Another milestone...she crawled a couple feet today. The past few days she's been getting up on her hands and knees and trying real hard to figure out how to move around like that. Usually she just falls down and just resorts back to her army crawl...but today she moved a couple feet before falling. She's getting SO CLOSE to the real crawl! We will see how long it takes her to make that her way of transportation. :) Or maybe she will just stick with the army crawl...we will see.

WATCH OUT!

Bethanie has become so good at walking around in her walker that she has become a danger to us all. :)

She trapped Trooper in the laundry room and wouldn't let him leave. Haha!

And then she followed me around the kitchen while I swept just running into the back of my heels...OUCH! Pretty sure I'm going to have bruised heels. I couldn't move fast enough to get away from her. Haha.

Check out the video to see how fast she moves and how good she's getting at getting where she wants to go. She has trouble getting up onto the carpet but that's ok because it's our safe zone. LOL! Enjoy!

Army Crawl Front View :)

Thought I'd capture the front view of her Army Crawl too...this time I gave her one of her toys to get instead of the dog bone. :) Enjoy!

Dog Bone or Toys?

Bethanie must be tired of her toys or something because when she spotted Trooper's bone across the tile she was determined to get it. We have caught her chomping on it a couple times (gross I know)...but she really wanted it. She's not crawling yet, but she sure does have the Army Crawl down. She can get just about anywhere she wants to go. Notice the suspicious look on her face when she hears Trooper come in his dog door...and then notice Trooper's face as he turns to me after realizing that she had his bone. The look on his face says, "Um, that's my bone! Why does she get to play with my toys but I can't play with hers?"

Bath Time

So Bethanie is getting too big for her baby tub so I decided to bathe her in the sink today...she loved it. She just lounged and splashed and chewed on her bath toy. She LOVES the water! :) She's so much fun. Enjoy the pics :)

Dada

Here she is saying "Dada." Now we just have to teach her who "Dada" is. :) Doesn't she look like she could be on one of those E-Trade commercials?! LOL! LOVE HER!!

My 7 Month Old Giraffe :)

Bethanie is 7 months old today! Time sure has flown by. I like doing photo shoots every month and since she was wearing her giraffe outfit today I thought it would be fun to have a giraffe family photo shoot. Hehe. I sure hope she learns to love giraffes because if you can't tell...I DO! :) She is becoming more and more fun as she gets older. Her personality is coming out more and more. She loves to smile and laugh.
She just learned how to say "Dada" a few days ago and so she rolls all around the living room saying "dadadadadadadada." I think it's time to learn a new word. Hehe.

Helping with the Laundry :)

So Bethanie was being really fussy rolling around on the floor while I was folding the towels and so I threw one of the big towels on her...and guess what?? She LOVED it! She just rolled around in the towel and played peek-a-boo with herself. So fun! I LOVE THIS GIRL!!!! :) The 2nd picture is my favorite!!
